According to Douglas, Fortaleza has been part of Klabin’s strategic planning for a long time, as it is a region that is developing much faster than the rest of Brazil, significantly boosting the fruit sector and being highly competitive. In addition to e-commerce, which will generate a large number of job opportunities, Klabin seeks to meet the demand in the fruit cultivation market and in the industry of Fortaleza.
Ceará Has Incentive Policies for Companies
According to Douglas, the fruit sector has specific requirements regarding packaging, and Klabin can meet them. Furthermore, Klabin is capable of keeping pace with this growth and driving innovation, as it is a company that ensures quality from the forest base to the packaging. Therefore, the company uses papers sourced directly from the forest that can come into contact with food, preserving its condition throughout the logistics, until export.
