The New Lamborghini Plant in Santa Catarina
Still under study, the Italian car manufacturer intends to invest in a luxury plant for fully electric vehicles. The investment in this segment could reach R$ 300 million. Garcia states that Lamborghini plans to assemble two cars in the country, one SUV model and one sedan model.
Lamborghini, which has a manufacturing plant for its vehicles in Mexico, previously had a branch in Argentina, but few units were sold (there were already electric models). The CEO of Lamborghini Latinoamérica says that as the plant evolves in the country, the company may transfer its headquarters to Brazil.

Investments and Jobs in Santa Catarina
Among the expected investments to be made in Santa Catarina, in addition to the plant, is the construction of a luxury condominium in the municipality of Governador Celso Ramos, in the Sapiens Parque technology development center.
For the Lamborghini plant project in Santa Catarina, it is expected that 1,680 jobs will be created, with 380 direct opportunities and 1,300 indirect jobs. The anticipated investment is US$ 57 million, or R$ 380 million. In the luxury residential condominium plan of Lamborghini, the entire project has already been defined. Construction will be on a beachfront area of 1.08 million square meters. The project foresees that 200 residences will be in this luxury condominium. The price of each residence will vary, ranging from R$ 5 million to R$ 20 million, says Gilson.
