A Xiaomi announced, recently, a new accessory aimed at those seeking practicality in daily life. This is the 45W GaN charger, dubbed Little Magic Cube, presented in China as part of the Mijia line.
The product now arrives in the Chinese market, with the proposal to deliver high power in an extremely compact body, facilitating transportation and daily use.
The brand’s bet responds to the demand for portable, efficient solutions compatible with various devices.

Xiaomi Bets on Portable 45W GaN Charger
The new GaN charger from Xiaomi grabs attention right away due to its small size.
Measuring just 38 x 32 x 32 millimeters and weighing 64 grams, the accessory is comparable to old 5W chargers.

However, it offers a power of 45W, which means up to nine times more charging capacity. This difference is possible thanks to GaN technology.
In simple terms, this material allows for smaller, more efficient components with less heat generation, making the charger more compact without sacrificing performance.
Compact Design Thought for Transportation
Besides the power, Xiaomi invested in aesthetics and functionality. The 45W GaN charger features a titanium gray finish, aligned with the design of premium smartphones.
The foldable prongs make it easy to transport, preventing damage in backpacks or bags alongside laptops and tablets.

This way, the accessory positions itself as a practical option for travel, remote work, or daily use outside the home.
Wide Compatibility Goes Beyond the Xiaomi Ecosystem
Although it integrates with the brand’s ecosystem, the GaN charger is not limited to Xiaomi devices. The single USB-C port is compatible with universal protocols such as Power Delivery, SCP, and FCP.
This enables charging of iPhones, Samsung phones, and even lightweight laptops like the MacBook Air, with adequate performance.
An internal chip manages the voltage, ensuring safety and compatibility with HyperOS and other systems.

Price, Box Content, and Availability
The package includes a one-meter USB-C cable, compatible with up to 60W. In China, the Xiaomi 45W GaN charger costs 69 yuan, about R$ 58 in direct conversion.
For now, sales are exclusive to the Chinese market. However, there is an expectation that the product will soon reach import stores or have a global version.
