Details of the Public Notices
1. PROFHISTORIA: Master’s in History
PROFHISTORIA is aimed at History teachers and offers 605 spots in over 30 universities across Brazil. Applications are open until November 13, 2024, and spots are distributed across all regions, with a highlight on the Southeast, which offers 252 spots. Applications cost R$ 130 and will be selected through an objective and subjective exam.
2. PROFLETRAS: Master’s in Language and Literature
PROFLETRAS offers over 700 spots in 41 higher education institutions. The selection process occurs from August 22 to September 22, 2024, with an application fee of R$ 160. The selection includes an objective and subjective exam, and spots are distributed across the five regions of the country.
3. PROFMAT: Master’s in Mathematics
PROFMAT, one of the largest master’s programs in Brazil, opens 1,600 spots in 81 institutions. Applications are from August 8 to September 30, 2024, with a fee of R$ 82. The selection process includes the National Access Exam.
4. MPNEF: Master’s in Physics Education
MPNEF offers 728 spots in 67 institutions. Applications occur from August 25 to September 24, 2024, with a fee of R$ 70. The selection process includes written exams and a defense of the candidate’s portfolio, differentiating candidates based on teaching experience.
5. PROFQUI: Master’s in Chemistry
PROFQUI offers 273 spots in 30 institutions. Applications must be submitted by September 27, 2024, with a fee of R$ 70. The selection process is divided into multiple-choice exams and the preparation of a letter of intent.
6. PROF-FILO: Master’s in Philosophy
PROF-FILO offers 308 spots in 25 institutions. Applications are open until October 21, 2024, with a fee of R$ 80. The selection includes evaluation and questioning of the research project.
