MEC Is Making Available More Than 5,000 Places in Free Online and Distance Learning Courses for Teachers and Managers. The Opportunities Guarantee Digital Completion Certificates That Can Be Downloaded Through the Study Platform

The Ministry of Education (MEC) is open for enrollment for free online and distance learning courses in Vocational Training for the World of Work, with the mission of further training basic education teachers. The opportunities will be conducted online and aim to promote debate and reflection for high school teachers, who will work within the framework of the new competencies and skills of the National Common Curricular Base. All MEC’s free online and distance learning courses come with digital certificates at the end of the journey.

Learn Who Can Participate in MEC’s Free Online Courses

The distance learning opportunities with certificates are primarily aimed at managers and teachers of Basic Education and are being offered through the AVAMEC platform. Interested parties can register for free on the platform.

After completing the free online courses, students will be able to issue their certificates through the platform. The digital certificates can be downloaded and used if the student achieves the minimum score on the exam.

The free Vocational Training course on the platform shows participants important strategies and concepts to work with the diversity of cultural experiences within the classroom, taking into account the present and future life project of students.

Periodically, free online training courses are launched in partnership with the best educational institutions in Brazil, aiming to disseminate and encourage scientific knowledge in various sectors. The opportunities consist of 180 hours of duration and the content is divided into two modules. Check it out below:

Exploring Opportunities – This module addresses the principles of technical-professional education, competencies for the world of work, and life project, observing how to create scientific initiation projects in order to solve societal and contemporary problems.

Careers and Professional Choices

This module includes content that supports teachers in career planning, values, identity, social responsibility, and future planning.

Online Scholarships

Candidates wishing to start their undergraduate or graduate studies from home should take advantage of the EAD scholarships from Educa Mais Brasil. The program offers discounts of up to 70% on tuition fees in partnership with various educational institutions in Brazil.

In addition to opportunities for higher education, it is possible to find scholarships for vocational technical courses, languages, preparatory courses for the Enem and competitions, Basic Education, EJA, and many others.
