Cake’s Electric Motorcycle Promises to Innovate the Methods Used by Security Professionals. Learn More Below.
Nowadays, the motorcycle is one of the most used means of transportation, both for short and long distances. Knowing that motorcycles are widely used, many people are considering replacing gasoline-powered bikes with electric models. However, this is no different for security professionals.
Economic and Silent Electric Motorcycle Created to Help Security Professionals
We can use illegal poaching as an example, as it is one of the crimes that forest rangers continuously try to prevent. However, the gasoline-powered motorcycles that rangers use to patrol within protected environmental areas are extremely loud, serving almost as a warning to hunters, who can easily escape the area upon hearing the noise of the motorcycles.
Therefore, it would be very efficient to have a silent electric motorcycle, something that would ensure forest rangers or other security professionals a better execution of the methods used in their daily work.

Meet the Electric Motorcycle Osa AP
Keeping all this problem in mind, the Swedish company Cake developed the solar-powered electric motorcycle Osa AP (Anti-Poaching), a super economical and silent vehicle aimed primarily at security professionals who assist in combating illegal poaching – like the forest rangers in the earlier example.
The electric motorcycle Osa AP is a tool exclusively for security companies. For this reason, the Osa AP has a removable battery, allowing you to charge this battery using an electric power source. Additionally, it is also possible to optimize battery life and charge it using sunlight, making the Osa AP also considered a solar-powered motorcycle.
Cake specializes in creating and developing electric scooters and motorcycles and has thought of all the necessary and specific details for the Osa AP model, intended for security companies. For this reason, the solar-powered motorcycle Osa AP is not available for the general public, only for the aforementioned sector.
Power of Cake’s Solar-Powered Motorcycle
Cake’s electric motorcycle is available in two versions, namely the Osa AP model and the Osa Flex AP model. The Osa AP model has much more power and is significantly stronger, being perfectly capable of reaching speeds of up to 90 km per hour.
On the other hand, the Osa Flex AP model only reaches a maximum speed of 45 km per hour. Both versions have removable batteries that can be recharged at electric power points or with the help of sunlight, making both very dynamic electric motorcycles.
Cake was founded in 2016 by Stefan Ytterborn, who is also the founder of the popular mountain biking apparel brand POC (short for “Piece Of Cake”), founded in 2005.
