The world has bet on green hydrogen as the fuel of the future, but now faces the side effect: producing 1 kilogram requires about 9 liters of ultrapure water, and the largest projects on the planet are precisely in the driest regions of the Earth, where water is already scarce for people.

Africa has about 500,000 cell towers and most still burn diesel to operate, while companies rush to cover antennas with solar energy and avoid signal blackouts.
The project’s capacity is 28 MW, and according to Nordex, construction of the wind farm is expected to begin in March 2021. The deal was established between Voltalia and TODA and plans for its construction through EPC services as well as operation and maintenance of the wind farm in Rio Grande do Norte.
Nordex Energy began projects in the Brazilian market in 2016, following the completion of its merger with the wind energy businesses of the Spanish group Acciona, which was already active in the country.
