Nordex, German Wind Turbine Manufacturer, Signs Agreement to Supply Eight AW 132/3465 Units to Supply Wind Farm Construction Project in RN
After the announcement that the French Voltalia has signed a contract with the Japanese multinational TODA for the construction of a wind farm in Rio Grande do Norte, the company Nordex announced that it has signed an agreement to supply wind turbines to the project and provide services for 15 years alongside TODA Energia do Brasil.

The German equipment manufacturer reported that the agreement includes the supply of eight wind turbines of its AW 132/3465 model and that the units will be installed on 120-meter concrete towers developed at its factory in Areia Branca, a municipality in Rio Grande do Norte.

Wind Farm in RN Receives Approval for Financing of R$ 208 Million from BNDES
Financing for the special purpose company (SPE) Ventos de Santa Sofia Energias Renováveis for the implementation of the Ventos de Santa Martina 14 wind energy park, located in Rio Grande do Norte, has been approved by the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES).
The wind energy park is part of the Casa dos Ventos group and is one of eight located in the Rio do Vento Wind Complex, currently under construction, with a total installed capacity of 504 megawatts.
BNDES will finance the implementation works and the acquisition of national equipment. The forecast is that the wind energy park Ventos de Santa Martina 14 will commence commercial operation in 2021, adding 63 megawatts to the total capacity of the complex. Learn more here.
