Did You Know That OneSubsea Signed A Contract Today With Petrobras For Mero 2, In The Pre-Salt Of The Santos Basin?
OneSubsea has signed a contract with the Brazilian state-owned company Petrobras to supply the subsea Christmas trees (ANMs) for the Mero 2 field in the pre-salt of the Santos Basin.
Eleven Christmas trees and four electro-hydraulic distribution units (UDEHs) are part of the scope contracted by Petrobras; in addition to these services, a 5-year contract for installation and maintenance services including drill pipe risers (DPR) in the Santos Basin pre-salt is also included.
In the Mero 1 field, in the pre-salt of the Santos Basin, where the Norwegian company Aker Solutions was awarded the contract to supply the Christmas trees, an exception was made by the government due to time constraints, allowing Petrobras to use equipment from the existing frame agreement with Aker.
