Technology and remote work – Home Office
The IT (Information Technology) area, in particular programming, is one of the areas that hires the most in Brazil, even with the crisis. By 2024, the projection was for at least 70 new jobs per year, a growth of around 10%, according to Brasscom, an association of companies in the sector.
The health and economic crises of 2020 may change the projections somewhat, but the essential remains: there will be a lack of qualified people to work with technology in Brazil. The shortage is more acute among professionals in the so-called “data science”, dedicated to software for analyzing a huge amount of information.
