In partnership with Senai-PE, 100 women will be trained, divided into four classes of 25 participants each. The course includes theoretical and practical subjects, lasting up to seven months with a total load of 596 hours.

The project’s main objective is to encourage women’s entry into professions predominantly occupied by men, such as the role of electricians.

“Encouraging the presence of women in an activity still viewed as male-dominated not only expands opportunities in the job market but also supports the ongoing pursuit of gender equity,” explains Celpe’s president, Saulo Cabral.

Upon completion of the course, the professionals will be qualified to participate in the selection process to join Celpe’s team of electricians, being able to work in building electrical installations and energy distribution networks.

Registration

Registrations for the project are free and can be made until December 22, by clicking here. The course begins in the first semester of 2020 with classes held at the Senai in the state of PE.

In addition to developing and strengthening qualified technical professional training with a focus on safety, the project is part of the commitment that places Gender Equality as one of the major global goals to be achieved by 2030.
