Haier officially debuted in Brazil in São Paulo with TVs, refrigerators, and air conditioning. Brand aims to enter the top 3 in the sector in 5 years.
The Chinese manufacturer Haier formalized its entry into Brazil during an event held in São Paulo last Thursday (14). The company brought to the country a portfolio that includes Smart TVs, refrigerators, washer-dryers, and air conditioning units.
With presenter Eliana as the brand’s official partner, Haier has set an ambitious goal: to rank among the top three companies in the home appliance segment in Brazil within the next five years.
Products adapted for the Brazilian consumer
The company’s central strategy in Brazil involves what it calls “tropicalization” — a product development process designed based on the needs and habits of the local audience.

- Smart TVs with Ultrasense AI technology: use artificial intelligence to automatically calibrate the image and make sports broadcasts smoother — a strategic feature on the eve of the 2026 World Cup
- Horizone Casa line refrigerators: focused on high-speed cooling and expanded compartments to accommodate larger volumes, designed for the consumption pattern of Brazilian families
- X9 model washer-dryer: features an active ventilation system that prevents the accumulation of musty odor in clothes stored inside the drum after the cycle
- Air conditioning: available in three formats — Split, Window, and Portable — to meet different types of environments and installations
National distribution and service structure
To reach consumers across the country, Haier has partnered with two nationally recognized retail chains: Casas Bahia and Fast Shop.

The post-sale support structure was also scaled up: there will be more than 1,000 technical assistance points and more than 200 consumer service positions (SAC) available from the start of operations.
