The American Giant Nike Announced Great News: Black Young People from the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo Now Have Until June 20 to Apply for the Scholarship Program for the Administration Course at the Foundation School of Sociology and Politics of São Paulo (Fesp-SP).

This deadline extension offers an additional opportunity for more candidates to participate in the program, which can be conducted in partnership with Somos CIEE and with the support of Corinthians.

In total, Nike’s initiative will last four years (2024-2028) and marks the second phase of a project initiated in 2022.

Number of Available Scholarships

In total, 20 full scholarships will be awarded, with nine allocated to participants in social programs supported by Nike in São Paulo, nine for young people linked to the Centro de Integração Empresa Escola (CIEE), and two for registered athletes from Corinthians.

The Goal of Nike’s Program

Nike’s initiative aims to increase Black representation in sports management, offering, in addition to access to higher education, the prospect of preferential hiring for these students by Corinthians in future selection processes.

Scholarship Program Details

The scholarships, which are 100% full, are for the administration course at Fesp-SP, which will include courses aimed at the sports market.

The selected students will also receive a transportation and food allowance throughout the duration of the course, as well as psychosocial and professional support provided by Somos CIEE.

The announcement with all the necessary information and documents for registration is available on the Somos CIEE portal, and the new deadline for applications is June 20.

  • Be a self-declared Black or Brown youth;
