Transpetro Contacted CPG To Clarify Some Points Regarding The Collective Agreement Issue
In the latest article about Transpetro, some offshore oil workers contacted us regarding some problems with the collective agreement made with Petrobras’ subsidiary, particularly concerning the work schedule. Today (20), Transpetro’s press office asked us to publish an official note on this issue. Here it is:

“Regarding the article “Transpetro Wants To Change To Conventional CLT The Work Regime Of Competitive Oil Workers”, the company clarifies that the employment relationship of all its competitive employees is governed by the CLT and that the Collective Agreement (ACT Mar 2017-2019) is not in force only for the categories that rejected the company’s proposal, in accordance with current labor legislation.

Five categories accepted the company’s proposal and established a new agreement for the period 2019-2020. It is worth highlighting that, despite the indication of acceptance by all trade union entities, some categories did not sign the collective agreement by 2/7, the end date of the validity of ACT Mar 2017-2019.
Transpetro emphasizes that it was tireless in seeking an agreement with the trade union entities representing its employees, having been flexible and reviewed several items of its proposal, and reiterates that it is available to the trade union entities should the categories decide to reconsider their position.”
