Tramontina Has Just Opened Its New Porcelain Factory in Pernambuco, Which Will Be Responsible for Generating 300 Direct Jobs. The Facility Will Serve Both the National and International Markets
Tramontina’s new porcelain factory was inaugurated on Tuesday (17) in Pernambuco and will be responsible for creating 300 job opportunities. The factory was built on an area of 66.2 hectares in the municipality of Moreno, in the Metropolitan Region of Recife, and will be responsible for the production of table porcelain, including products such as plates, cups, saucers, and serving dishes. According to the company’s executive director, Rui Baldasso, the choice of the state for the new unit was based on the attractions presented by the government of Pernambuco.
Tramontina Factory in Pernambuco Will Facilitate Export
According to Baldasso, the company really likes Pernambuco and has already realized, in other projects, that it can count on specialized labor, as well as a nearby port that greatly facilitates the export of products, which the company ships to around 120 countries.
Baldasso claims that Tramontina has come to stay, transform, and develop the region by offering jobs and income. The executive also stated that the project in Pernambuco was developed to serve both national and international markets.

Additionally, the company benefited from various incentives, such as the land where the factory was built, which was donated by the government of Pernambuco. According to Roberto Abreu, president of the Economic Development Agency of Pernambuco, Tramontina will also have the benefit of 85% presumed credit on the outstanding ICMS balance for approximately 10 years. The tax incentives and the entire policy of supporting companies growing or relocating in Pernambuco are the focus of the government.
Authorities Comment on the Inauguration of Tramontina’s Factory
Present at the inauguration of the factory in Pernambuco, Governor Paulo Câmara commented on the arrival of the new venture in the state, which is generating numerous jobs.
The governor expressed his great happiness in knowing that the state is inaugurating another Tramontina factory. He also stated that no one makes the largest investment in the history of the business group without trusting the state and its institutions. It is clear that trust exists, and he affirms that investing in the state is worth it.
It is important to note that key figures present at the inauguration included Tramontina’s president, Clovis Tramontina, Ferreira Costa’s president, Guilherme Ferreira Costa, the company’s board director, Ildo Paludo, mayors João Campos (Recife) and Edmilson Cupertino (Moreno), the Secretary of Economic Development of Recife, Rafael Dubeux, the deputy mayor of Recife, Isabella de Roldão, and the president of the Recife City Council, Romerinho Jatobá.
