Vitaborges Group Announces Million-Dollar Investment in New Factory in Rio Grande do Sul, Focusing on Animal Feed Production, Soy Processing for Meal and Oil, and Creating Numerous Jobs in the Region.

The Vitaborges Group, a well-known company in the agricultural sector headquartered in Alexânia, Goiás, is expanding its horizons! With an investment of R$ 181 million, the company announced the construction of a new factory in Rio Grande do Sul, more specifically in the city of Trindade do Sul, in the northern part of the state. This new plant promises to boost the local economy and open new doors in the animal feed and soy processing sector. And of course, generate new jobs!

A Million-Dollar and Sustainable Investment

The project for the new Vitaborges Group factory is grand. The facility will be built on a 50,000 square meter plot of land located along the RS-324 and will be responsible for producing animal feed and processing soy into meal and oil. According to the group’s Director of Investments and Business, Marcelo Quadros, the factory will be powered by renewable energy supplied by the Regional Cooperative of Rural Electrification of Alto Uruguai (Creral). This shows that, in addition to growing, the company is committed to sustainable practices.

The expectation is that the factory will produce about 250 tons of animal feed per month and process 26 tons of soy daily. This will not only help meet the region’s demand but also boost the company’s revenue, which estimates reaching R$ 70 million monthly with this new operation. With such impressive numbers, the positive impact of this investment is clear for both the Vitaborges Group and the local economy.

New Factory Promises to Create More Jobs in the Region

One of the best pieces of news about this project is undoubtedly the job creation. The construction of the new factory is expected to create around 280 new direct job openings in Trindade do Sul and surrounding areas. This means more opportunities for those seeking a place in the job market, as well as fostering economic development in the area. These new job positions will benefit various families and stimulate local commerce.

The expectation is that construction will begin at the end of October 2024 and that the factory will be ready to operate in about a year. Soon, we will see the first job openings being announced, which is already generating great anticipation among the local residents.

Partnerships and Incentives for the Success of the New Factory

To ensure that the project gets off the ground and is successfully executed, the Vitaborges Group is relying on an important partnership: Banco do Brasil. The investment of R$ 181 million will be financed through credit with the bank, demonstrating confidence in the growth prospects and financial return that the new unit will bring.

The company is already in contact with the State Secretary of Economic Development of Rio Grande do Sul, seeking quick issuance of the environmental license and also requesting tax incentives for the acquisition of the necessary machinery for the factory. These measures are essential to ensure that the project advances on schedule and that the company can operate efficiently from day one.

The Strategy of the Vitaborges Group

The choice of Rio Grande do Sul for the establishment of this new factory was not by chance. The state is a strategic hub for agribusiness, with great potential for exporting products such as soy meal and oil, in addition to a growing demand for animal feed. The investment in the south is part of the Vitaborges Group’s expansion plan, which already employs 350 people in Goiás and seeks to consolidate its presence in the southern Brazilian market.

This new unit will not only strengthen the company’s position in the Brazilian agribusiness market, but also open doors to new export opportunities, helping the company grow even further. The expansion into Rio Grande do Sul reflects the group’s strategic vision of seizing growth opportunities in the sector and meeting the needs of a region that stands out in agribusiness.

A cidade vai estar preparada para atender essa demanda crescente? Mais hotéis, restaurantes, moradias e comércio em geral para atender essa necessidade.
