The 2025 Lineup of the New Chevrolet S10 Will Have a Giant Montana Look! The Vehicle’s Presentation Already Has a Confirmed Location and Date.

In recent months, there has been information that the new Chevrolet S10 would have the face of its American sister Colorado transplanted onto the body of the current generation. According to images published by the profile @mentirasautomotivas, on Instagram, this will not happen. This is because, in reality, the new mid-size pickup from Chevrolet will resemble its smaller cousin Montana, just as will happen with the 2025 Spin.

According to information published by the website Auto Esporte, the new Chevrolet S10 2025 already has a date and even a location for its launch. According to the portal, this launch will occur in the first half of April. The location where the pickup will be launched is the Agribusiness and Industrial Exhibition of Londrina, in Paraná. The event will take place between April 5 and 14.

The Look of the New Chevrolet S10

The photo published by the mentioned Instagram account shows that the new Chevrolet S10 has adopted the visual identity of the third generation of the Montana as well as the 2025 Spin, which, renewed, will be launched at the end of this month. The headlights show a similarity to those used in the Montana.

These objects will be aligned to the top of the grille, which will have an extension of its main horizontal divider sloping downwards towards the edges of the front bumper. However, right below them, there will only be air intakes and LED fog lights. In other words, the Chevrolet S10 will not feature the continuity of the front lighting assembly, which occurs in the Montana.

When it comes to size, it is noted that, due to the maintenance of the GMT 31XX platform and the current body, the pickup should have few changes in dimensions. Currently, the vehicles in the series feature a Double Cab: 5.36 meters in length, 1.87 m in width, 1.78 m in height, and a 3.10 m wheelbase.

Laterally, the information and photos show that only new wheel designs should appear in the composition of the 2025 version of the vehicle. At the rear, there are signs of internal rearrangements of the taillights, equipped with LEDs, and a new panel for the cargo bed cover, with redesigned grooves.

According to the website Auto Esporte, inside, the pickup will have a significantly modified dashboard. This is because the trend is to adopt a digital instrument panel integrated with a partially detached multimedia center. This will include a new generation of the MyLink entertainment system, which will debut this March in the new Spin.

The Pickup’s Engine

An always sought-after topic is regarding the engine. According to the website, the new Chevrolet S10 will continue to have the 2.8 four-cylinder 16V Ecotec turbodiesel, with 200 hp of power, 44.9 kgfm of torque with a six-speed manual transmission and 51 kgfm when automatic.

According to the site, a new feature will be the eight-speed automatic transmission. This functionality was inherited from the Colorado and will replace the current six-speed transmission. Although the engine will not change, Chevrolet is expected to improve the vehicle’s consumption and energy efficiency ratings. This is precisely due to the automatic transmission with more gears.

Finally, the information is that the new Chevrolet S10 will be sold in Chassis-Cab, Single Cab, and Double Cab versions, with prices ranging between R$ 230,000 and R$ 350,000. More photos of the model can be seen on the mentioned Instagram account. To visit it, click here.
