Tesla's new electric car, the Tesla Model S Plaid, is capable of reaching 100 km/h in less than 2 seconds and is already on the Brazilian automotive market for a luxury car price. The Tesla model is for sale at the Direct Imports store, a company specializing in importing vehicles of this type.

Tesla Model S Plaid for over a million

The electric car, Model S (another company vehicle) has the “Long Range” version, which is geared toward autonomy and starts at prices starting at R$700.000. The fastest model in the world, Tesla Model S Plaid, can reach the value of R$ 1.099.000 in Brazil.

It is worth noting that its original value is US$ 130 (About R$ 675 at current exchange rates). Currently, the Marcopolo Paradiso 1800 DD, which is present in several Brazilian streets and avenues, has a value of approximately R$ 1,2 million, a little more than the Tesla Model S Plaid.

Tesla Model S Plaid can reach 320 km/h

Tesla's new electric car can reach a speed of 320 km/h, but what makes it so special is its ability to reach 100 km/h in an incredible 1,99 seconds. Elon Musk's automaker's vehicle can cover a quarter of a mile (402 meters) in less than 10 seconds, at a speed of 248 km/h.

The car has about three equipped electric motors, capable of producing a power of 1020 horsepower. In terms of charging, it is possible to charge 300 km of autonomy in just fifteen minutes, and its total autonomy in a single charge is 627 km.

Now good news for gamers. The in-flight entertainment system, which rivals consoles, uses the same graphics card found in the Playstation 5 and was demonstrated by Elon Musk running Cyberpunk 2077.  

13 units sold by the end of 2022

Due to the luxury car value, the CEO of Direct Imports, Daniel Valerio, estimates that it will only sell about 13 units until the end of 2022. The store has a strategy of offering a two-year warranty against damage to the batteries, possibly caused by the 100 kWh of the electric car, to attract consumers who are “one foot behind” with independent imports. In addition, the company also offers a warranty against bodywork corrosion, which is highly reinforced.
