With Production Started in São Caetano do Sul (SP), the Best-Selling SUV from the Brand Gets a New Design, Technological Cabin with Dual Screen, and Launch Confirmed for July, but the Engine Remains the Same.
Chevrolet has finally revealed the official images of the new Chevrolet Tracker 2026, confirming what many were expecting. Production of the compact SUV has already started and its official launch is scheduled for July 8, with arrival in stores in the following weeks. The main news for the model focuses on the external design and, above all, a much more technological and modern cabin.
The New Face of the Chevrolet Tracker
The design of the Chevrolet Tracker has been deeply updated. The biggest change is in the front, which is now directly inspired by the Montana and the Spin. The optical set is the star, featuring narrow LED headlights separated into two blocks. The daytime running lights (DRLs) are located at the top, while the main headlights are situated just below. The grille has also been redesigned, showing a larger opening and a honeycomb pattern.
At the back, the RS version will stand out with smoked tail lights. Although the shape of the component remains the same, Chevrolet has updated the internal graphics, creating a new visual identity for the lights.

More Modern and Technological Interior

Inside, the cabin of the Chevrolet Tracker 2026 undergoes its biggest revolution. The highlight is the new dashboard, which integrates a new multimedia center with an 11-inch screen to the 8-inch digital instrument panel. This set of screens, similar to that of the Spin, is slightly tilted towards the driver. Connectivity with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and OnStar services will be maintained.
The interior finish has also been improved, with soft-touch materials and new textures. The center console has been redesigned, now taller and wider, and the SUV will finally adopt the electronic parking brake. The sunroof will continue to be a standard item in the top versions, Premier and RS.
Turbo Engines Continue in the Chevrolet Tracker

A crucial point is that there will be no changes under the hood. The entry-level and mid-range versions of the Chevrolet Tracker maintain the known engine 1.0 turbo flex with 121 hp and 18.9 kgfm of torque. The more expensive configurations continue with the 1.2 turbo flex engine with 141 hp and 22.9 kgfm. Both work with a six-speed automatic transmission and have already been updated to the new emission regulations.
Despite the expectations, the awaited 48-volt mild hybrid (MHEV) system will only be available in 2026.
Prices, Versions, and Other Chevrolet Launches
Chevrolet has not yet disclosed the prices for the Chevrolet Tracker 2026, but increases are expected. For reference, the current lineup is sold in five versions with prices ranging from R$ 119,900 to R$ 175,990.
The SUV’s launch on July 8 will be a major event for the brand, which will also introduce the new Onix, Onix Plus, as well as the new entry-level electric Spark and Captiva for the Brazilian market.
