What Is The Career Of A Sergeant Like?
Sergeant is the designation that indicates military personnel who have a hierarchical rank superior to corporals and inferior to warrant officers, both belonging to the ranks of the armed forces. Just like any company that uses means to establish good communication between employees and management, the Armed Forces also require this essential means for the success of their missions. Thus, the role of a sergeant is to make this connection between the troops and command.
The School of Aeronautics Specialists aims to train sergeants specializing in various technical areas. It is important to mention that the Air Force offers a different promotion to those who wish for any specialty from the basic corps. The sergeant specialist from the basic corps may take the exam for officer after 8 years of being qualified, potentially reaching the rank of colonel.
