New Partnership With Senna Brands Promises to Take Biofuel to a New Level in the Brazilian Market

Raízen’s new partnership with the Ayrton Senna brand brings to the Brazilian market a specialized ethanol that promises high performance and sustainability. Check out the details of this innovation that aims to promote the use of biofuels in the country, according to Forbes.

Raízen, the world’s largest sugarcane processor and licensed partner of the Shell brand, has just launched the Shell V-Power Ethanol Senna, an additive biofuel that combines advanced technology with the legacy of three-time Formula 1 champion, Ayrton Senna. The company’s goal is ambitious: to triple the sales of specialized ethanol by 2030. And it’s not just the technical aspect that’s at stake — the emotional appeal linked to the name of Senna also promises to captivate the Brazilian audience.

Historic Partnership With The Ayrton Senna Brand

The choice of the name Senna was not by chance. The legacy of the Brazilian driver is directly linked to innovation and renewal, two pillars that Raízen sought when developing this new product. “It’s the kind of thing that just hearing the name makes you feel confident,” highlighted Ricardo Berni, Raízen’s Executive Director of Marketing.

For those who didn’t follow Senna’s races, the association of the driver with Ferrari and Shell is historic, and the launch of the new specialized ethanol occurs precisely during the celebrations of 30 years of his legacy. The idea behind this partnership is to unite the image of Senna, who is still considered a national hero, with the performance and sustainability of the ethanol produced by Raízen.

Cutting-Edge Technology to Improve Performance

The Shell V-Power Ethanol Senna was developed over four years in Shell’s laboratory in Germany, with the goal of delivering a fuel that cleans, protects, and improves performance of engines. “You feel that the car is lighter, smoother, and, on top of that, more economical,” explained Berni. The product uses exclusive technologies, such as friction reducer FMT, along with detergents and dispersants that help keep the engine in nearly new condition.

This innovation arrives to dispel some prejudices about the use of ethanol in vehicles, especially regarding performance and cost-effectiveness. According to Raízen, the new product not only brings technical benefits but also reinforces the image of sustainability, a topic increasingly on the rise among Brazilian consumers.

Sales Growth and Bet on a Sustainable Future

In addition to tripling the sales of specialized ethanol by 2030, Raízen also plans to increase the product’s availability by over 170% at Shell stations, expanding beyond the southeast region of Brazil. This means that most Brazilians will have access to this high-performance biofuel.

Raízen, which is already one of the largest producers of biofuels in the world, does not hide the fact that this commitment to specialized ethanol is part of a larger strategy to promote the use of renewable fuels in Brazil. Recently, the company announced an investment of 11.5 billion reais in solutions such as second-generation ethanol and biomethane, demonstrating its commitment to a greener and more sustainable future.

In summary, the Shell V-Power Ethanol Senna promises not only to improve performance of engines but also to strengthen the image of ethanol as a viable and sustainable alternative for Brazilian consumers. If you are looking for a fuel for technology and sustainability, this could be the ideal choice.
