Mason Teaches Simple Technique To Increase Shower Pressure Without Changing The Device; Free Method Goes Viral And Is Validated By Hydraulic Experts.

A video of a Brazilian mason is going viral on social media for an unusual reason: it shows a simple and completely free technique that promises to significantly increase shower pressure, without needing to change the device or spend on expensive equipment. The content was released by Portal 6 and ND+, and has drawn attention for its effectiveness and ease of execution. The method, according to the professional, was born from practical experience in hundreds of residential works, especially in houses with a water tank located at a low height, which naturally generates low hydraulic pressure. He claims that with a small adaptation to the piping, it is possible to improve water flow and increase the feeling of comfort during a shower.

The Problem Of Low Pressure In Showers

In many Brazilian homes, especially in single-story buildings, the water tank is installed at an insufficient height to guarantee adequate pressure.

The ideal, according to ABNT (NBR 5626) standards, is that the water outlet is at least 2.5 meters above the point of use, which generates about 0.25 bar of pressure, the minimum recommended value for the efficient operation of an electric shower.

When this distance is shorter, the water arrives weak, making the shower uncomfortable and compromising heating. Many consumers end up believing that the problem lies in the shower, changing the equipment unnecessarily.

The Mason’s Home Solution

The mason explains that the technique consists of increasing the air flow in the pipes to eliminate the so-called “hydraulic vacuum,” a phenomenon that occurs when the air trapped inside the pipe prevents the continuous passage of water.

The procedure involves only a thin hose and a simple connection at the water tank outlet pipe, without needing to interfere with the electrical network or break walls.

According to him, by creating a breather in the water line, internal pressure stabilizes and the volume that reaches the shower perceptibly increases. “It’s like giving breath to the piping to breathe,” the professional describes in the video, which has already surpassed millions of views.

Practical Results And Safety Of The Technique

Consulted hydraulic engineers confirm that breathers and relief valves are well-known solutions in building systems, even used in large building projects. When applied correctly, these small interventions improve flow without compromising the safety of the plumbing.

However, specialists warn that the installation must follow basic criteria: the breather must be above the water level to avoid backflow, and the pipe must not be exposed to contamination. In pressurized systems with electric pumps, the method is not recommended.

Why The Tip Went Viral On Social Media

The success of the tip reflects a Brazilian reality: according to the Brazilian Association of Manufacturers of Building Materials (Abramat), around 60% of the country’s homes still have gravity hydraulic systems, fed only by the height of the water tank.

In single-story houses, the low water column is the main reason for complaints about insufficient pressure.

The mason’s video, besides being simple, offers an immediate and economical alternative. Many users who tested the solution reported a noticeable improvement in the flow and temperature of the shower. In construction and renovation groups on YouTube, the topic has already become a discussion among professionals.

When Is It Really Necessary To Change The Shower

Despite the effectiveness of the technique, there are cases where the problem lies in the equipment itself. Burned resistances, calcium deposits, and clogged filters are common causes of low flow. Before applying any modifications, it is important to check the condition of the shower and the electrical wiring.

Modern models, with integrated pressurized systems, can be a definitive alternative for places with low pressure, but the cost can exceed R$ 500, while the mason’s home technique requires no investment at all.

The Impact Of The Tip On Household Economy

Besides avoiding the replacement of the device, the solution can also help in energy and water savings, as the increased flow improves heating and reduces shower time.

According to estimates from electric shower manufacturers, an efficient shower can represent up to 30% energy consumption savings in homes with more than three residents.

From Home Trick To Technical Content

Although it seems like a “quick fix,” the method presented by the mason is based on basic hydraulic principles. The use of breathers and air equalization lines is common in commercial and industrial works and can be safely adapted in homes when executed correctly.

Architects and hydraulic technicians highlight that popular solutions like this help democratize technical knowledge, showing that small adaptations can solve everyday problems with low cost and common sense.

The success of the video also reinforces the importance of the empirical knowledge of construction professionals, often accumulated over years of practice and observation. In a country where much of the construction is self-built or family-run, creative solutions like this end up having a real social impact, improving comfort and saving resources for thousands of Brazilians.

As outras ligações,
