Giant Brazilian State-Owned Company in the Oil and Gas Sector, Petrobras is Looking for 9 Platform Support Vessels to Develop New Research Projects and Other Activities.
Petrobras, the leading energy company in Brazil, is seeking nine new platform support vessels. This initiative promises to energize the vessel market, bringing opportunities for companies in the sector. The call for tenders for these vessels, known as PSVs (Platform Supply Vessel), was published last Wednesday, on the 24th, and the deadline for bidders to submit proposals ends on June 15.
Expected Start of Operations for the Support Vessels
According to the notice, Petrobras has set the maximum deadline for the vessels to be put into operation as December of this year or up to 120 days after the signing of the contract, with the longer deadline prevailing.
The state-owned company will prioritize proposals for multipurpose PSV vessels registered under the Brazilian flag, provided they are ready for mobilization within 60 days.
