Young People Will Have a 21-Month Contract, Official Employment, and Training in Different Areas
Petrobras announced the opening of 715 vacancies in the Young Apprentice Program, offering young people aged 14 to 21 the chance to start their professional life with official employment and qualification in free technical courses at Senai.
The selection process, which covers 13 states, begins in October and is among the largest training initiatives of the year.
In addition to training, participants will have a 21-month contract, with a 20-hour weekly schedule, divided between classes and supervised practice at the company’s facilities.

Offered Benefits
The selected candidates will receive full minimum wage for the part-time schedule, currently equivalent to R$ 1,158. The benefits package also includes transportation vouchers, a 13th salary, paid vacation, and FGTS.
Another advantage is the possibility of enrolling in the Petrobras private pension plan (Petros) and the company’s Physical Activity Program, enhancing support for young people during the contract period.

The 715 positions are spread across different regions of the country.
In Espírito Santo, there are opportunities in Vitória and Linhares. Other capitals are also included, such as Manaus (AM), Salvador (BA), Fortaleza (CE), Recife (PE), Curitiba (PR), Natal (RN), Canoas (RS), and Aracaju (SE).
In the states of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, in addition to the capitals, strategic municipalities have also been included in the program.

- Petrochemistry
- Systems Development
- Renewable Energy Systems
At the end, participants receive a certificate or technical diploma, depending on the chosen modality.
Who Can Participate
Applications are open for young people between 14 and 21 years and 7 months.
For people with disabilities, there is no age limit.
The announcement also provides for social inclusion quotas, as follows:
- 30% of the vacancies for black, indigenous, and quilombola individuals;
- 20% for individuals with disabilities;
- 15% for former child laborers;
- 10% for adolescents in care or socio-educational measures.
