The Thermoelectric Plants

The plants operate with fuel oil and have the potential for conversion to natural gas operations.
The Canoas UTE is an asset of Petrobras and has an installed capacity of 249 MW.
“As the plant is dual-fuel, it therefore has potential operational gains with the expected expansion of the gas pipeline network and/or new regasification terminals,” the state-controlled company adds.
