Additionally, Petrobras has expressed interest in the right of preference in the Jaspe block, and future contracts for WTI and Brent oil have shown variations, reflecting changes in the international market, with WTI for March closing up 0.96%, at US$ 75.09. Meanwhile, Brent for April rose 0.66%, at US$ 79.63 per barrel.
Expansion and Strategic Investments of Petrobras
Petrobras is also looking to strengthen partnerships, such as the allocation of part of the contracted capacity in Gasbol by Sulgás. Furthermore, the company sees opportunities in the naval sector, including the possibility of investments in shipbuilding, as indicated by the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES).
The company also remains focused on geopolitical issues, such as President Lula’s visit to Guyana and his participation as a guest at the Caribbean Community summit, in a context involving territorial disputes with Venezuela.
Therefore, Petrobras is set to face challenges in the coming years to strategically position itself in the energy market, with significant investments in renewable energy, strategic partnerships, and a constantly changing international environment.
