Meanwhile, Ethanol Prices Increased By An Average Of 0.95%, While Common Diesel Fell By 0.99%.

The Beginning Of December Was Quite Positive For Fuel Consumers In The National Market, With A Significant Reduction In Prices Of Various Products Across The Country.

Among Them, The Main Highlight Is Gasoline, Which Has Seen Significant Reductions In The Prices Charged To End Consumers, Especially For Residents Of The Southeast Region Of Brazil.

This Is Because The Latest Ticket Log Price Index (IPTL), A Report Compiled By Ticket Log Regarding The Prices Charged Per Liter Of Fuels In The Country, Indicated The Lowest Price In The Southeast For Gasoline.

Despite The Increase Of 0.21% In The Final Price Of Gasoline Per Liter, The Liter Closed The First Fortnight Of December With An Average Price Of R$ 5.14, The Lowest In All Of Brazil.

Meanwhile, Ethanol Experienced An Increase Of 0.95% Compared To The Previous Month, Being Found At Average Prices Of R$ 4.25 In The States Of Southeast Brazil.

Finally, Both Types Of Diesel Experienced A Price Drop. While Common Diesel Was Sold At A Price Of R$ 6.61, With A Decrease Of 0.99%, The S-10 Was Sold At A Final Price Of R$ 6.75, With A Decrease Of 0.76%.

São Paulo Was The Main Highlight Regarding The Drop In Fuel Prices And The Lowest Price Charged In The Southeast Region

Douglas Pina, General Director Of Mobility At Edenred Brazil, Commented On The Drop In Prices In The Southeast Of Brazil And The Continuation Of The Lowest Prices For Gasoline Per Liter.

He Highlighted The State Of São Paulo As One Of The States That Experienced The Most Significant Drop In Prices, Besides Factors That Led To The Decrease In Prices Of Some Products.

“The Southeast Showed A Decrease In The Price Of Both Types Of Diesel, However, Gasoline, Even With The Cheapest Price In The Country, Registered An Increase. Among The States Of The Southeast, São Paulo Stands Out For Having Shown A Decrease In The Price Of All Fuels,” He Said.

“Gasoline, When Compared To Ethanol, Is The Most Advantageous Fuel For Drivers Throughout The Region, However, Ethanol Is The Most Ecologically Viable For Refueling, According To The Latest Ticket Log Survey.
