Japan launches omnidirectional cable that promises to revolutionize the cell phone market for just R$101! Discover how this innovation transforms charging and using devices.

The digitalization of devices we use every day has brought an avalanche of cables into our homes. Despite being essential, they face common problems, such as lack of ergonomics: whether it’s when using devices while they’re charging, or when connecting them in tight spaces or close to furniture. Now, a new omnidirectional cable developed in Japan promises to solve all these challenges and revolutionize the way we charge our phones.

How much does the omnidirectional cable cost? from Japan?

As reported by TechSpot, Sanwa Supply has launched the 500-USB090 cable that promises to revolutionize cell phone charging, rotating 180 degrees vertically and 360 degrees horizontally, allowing greater flexibility and more convenience when charging devices.

Additionally, it supports a power delivery of up to 240W, ideal for quickly charging phones, tablets, monitors and even a portable video game. The price of the cable cellular is de 2.580 yen (R$ 101 in direct conversion) for 1 meter cable.

Thanks to its versatile design, this mobile phone cable from Japan manages to leave behind the frustration of traditional cables that require the user to position the device according to the direction of the cable.

However, while it is perfect for charging cell phones, it currently only supports USB 2.0 data transfers at speeds of up to 480 Mbps, much slower than current USB 3.2 standards. The cable is only sold in Japan, so it must be imported for those interested in other countries.

Xiaomi also announces new innovative mobile phone cable

As companies adopt standards like USB 2.0 or Thunderbolt 5, the expectation is that 240W power will become more common.

At this point, companies like Elecom have already introduced these certified options, innovating in the charging of cell phones. However, only a few models support 240W charging. In any case, the mere existence of this type of cable could spark interest among companies in producing something similar.

Following this same idea, in addition to Japan, Xiaomi has unveiled two new fast-charging magnetic data cables with self-storage for the Mi 6A in China. Both cables are 1m long, with USB-C to USB C and USB-A to USB-C variants. These products that can innovate mobile charging are available in four colors with a braided finish and magnetic properties to keep them organized.

Xiaomi mobile phone cable can deliver up to 120W of power

The Xiaomi Mi 1A 6m Magnetic Self-Storage Fast Charging Data Cables have been launched in China. These USB-C to USB-C and USB-A to USB-C cables can be used to charge a wide range of devices at up to 120W, with support for Xiaomi HyperCharge. They also offer a data transfer rate of 480Mbps.

The Xiaomi Mi 6A USB-C 1m cable has a braided outer shell and is available in four colours: grey, olive green, white and dark brown. As the name suggests, the products' magnetic properties mean the cable is temporarily attached to itself, which should make it easier to store or carry around.

Additionally, Xiaomi suggests that these products can withstand 10 pulls or 20 bends and withstand a force of up to 100N. You can now buy 1m fast-charging magnetic data cables from Xiaomi in China, where all versions are selling for around $50.
