Quality Coordinator – Rio de Janeiro
The Quality Coordinator at PRIO, based in Rio de Janeiro, will be the pillar for excellence in management and quality within the company. Your responsibilities include managing the team of Onshore and Offshore Quality Engineers, providing crucial support in PRIO’s management methodologies. You will be responsible for developing the technical knowledge of the team, elevating the seniority of the team in using management and quality tools. Furthermore, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of PRIO’s management system (PRIO Way) and its supporting tools, such as the FLOW System. The professional must empower the team to support the Operations team through methodologies like PDCA, SDCA, and Continuous Improvement, also ensuring complete regulatory compliance of PRIO’s management systems with the requirements of agencies such as ANP and IBAMA. This is a position that not only manages but transforms and elevates the quality standard, directly impacting the results and operational safety of the largest independent oil and gas producer in Brazil. Job Requirements
For this position, you must have a completed higher education degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, and/or Information Technology. Postgraduate education (Master’s, MBA, Postgraduate in Business Management, Project Management, and Quality) is an important differential. Previous experience with deviation and anomaly handling, use of quality tools, project management, and solid knowledge in Management Methodologies (PDCA, SDCA, MASP, Goal Deployment, Daily Routine Management, Statistical Process Control, Standardization, etc.) is mandatory. Strong negotiation skills are essential. Experience with Agile Methodologies (Scrum and Kanban), knowledge in software development, and regulatory knowledge of oil and gas management systems (ANP, IBAMA, etc.) are desirable.
