Lagartixo stated in an interview with Jornal de Negócios that the goal is to reach one thousand employees by 2027, with an initial increase of at least 100 professionals still in 2024, depending on demand and talent availability.
Furthermore, he said that Braga was chosen due to its economic development and the high quality of professionals trained at its universities and polytechnic institutes.
In this sense, Lagartixo emphasized that the city offers a favorable environment for Deloitte’s growth, not only because of its infrastructure but also due to the talent available in the region. “Braga is an addition to our growth strategy outside the two major national hubs,” he said.
