Design and Equipment Follow the Standard of the Previous Line
In design, the 2026 line of the Tiggo 7 preserves the brand’s distinctive visual characteristics. The SUV keeps the full LED headlights with electric height adjustment and automatic lighting, along with the Big Diamond front grille with chrome details, reinforcing Caoa Chery’s visual identity.
The model also retains the LED DRLs, dynamic turn signals, panoramic rear lights, and 18-inch darkened alloy wheels. These elements contribute to a robust and sophisticated look, maintaining the proposal of a modern and competitive SUV.
Powertrains Remain Powerful and Varied
Under the hood, the Tiggo 7 2026 offers three powertrain options, depending on the version. The entry-level configuration, Sport, continues to be equipped with the 1.5 turbo TCI Flex engine, delivering 150 hp with ethanol and 147 hp with gasoline, plus 21.4 kgfm of torque. The CVT transmission simulates nine gears and, together with the independent suspension on all four wheels, provides more comfort and stability on various types of terrain.
In the Pro Max Drive version, the SUV comes with a 1.6L Turbo GDI engine, generating 187 hp and 28 kgf.m of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automated transmission (DCT). This version also includes a panoramic sunroof and electric opening and closing of the trunk lid, features that enhance the model’s sophistication level.
The Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid Max Drive 2026 maintains the same price and adds a 48V mild hybrid system. In this configuration, the electric generator assists the combustion engine with an additional 10 hp and 40 Nm, improving efficiency and acceleration response.
Finally, the top-of-the-line Tiggo 7 Pro Plug-In Hybrid is priced at R$ 219,990 and combines the 1.5 turbo engine with two electric motors, totaling 317 hp and 56.6 kgf.m of torque, performance that positions the model among the most powerful in its category.
National Production and Focus on Competitiveness
The Tiggo 7 2026 continues to be produced at the Caoa Chery industrial complex in Anápolis, Goiás. With the new multimedia system and the maintenance of competitive pricing, the SUV aims to strengthen its position in the highly contested mid-size utility segment, where it faces rivals like Jeep Compass, GWM Haval H6, and Toyota Corolla Cross.
With these updates, the brand bets on technology and convenience to keep the Tiggo 7 as one of the most complete and balanced options in the national market, combining performance, comfort, and connectivity without changing the final price to the consumer.
