That’s right, the Social Service of Industry (Sesi) in Santo André, in Greater São Paulo, is offering free programming and robotics courses with a completion diploma. This is the chance many have been waiting for to leap into technological knowledge, and registrations are now open!

The courses, exclusively for public school students aged 8 to 15, offer a unique opportunity for students to enroll until August 21.

According to Sesi, spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is essential to register as soon as possible. Registration can be done through this link.

Classes will be in-person and will take place at the Sesi Santa Terezinha unit, located at Praça Dr. Armando de Arruda Pereira, 100, in Santo André.

The course, which has a workload of 40 hours, introduces participants to the principles of robotics and the basic concepts of programming, using an object-oriented software (block programming) and the Microsoft Make Code tool.

The main objectives of the course include developing students’ logical reasoning, enhancing the learning of public school students, and providing the chance to deepen knowledge in technology, an area increasingly present in everyday life.

Classes start on August 26 and continue until December 2024. Below is the detailed calendar of the courses:
