Distribution of Positions and Inclusion Criteria
The selection process offers a total of 45 positions, which will be distributed as follows:
- Open competition (AC): 45% of the positions are allocated to candidates who do not choose other modalities;
- People with Disabilities (PCD General): 5% of the positions are reserved for candidates with disabilities, regardless of their school background;
- Affirmative Actions: 50% of the positions are allocated to students who completed Elementary School entirely in public schools. Within this percentage, there are specific quotas for self-declared black, brown, indigenous, quilombola candidates, and people with disabilities, in addition to income criteria according to current legislation.
The distribution aims to ensure that young people from different social backgrounds have equal access to the opportunity, increasing their chances of entering the job market.
Requirements for Participation in IFSULDEMINAS
To apply for the technical course in mechanics in the EaD modality with practical learning at XCMG, applicants must meet some essential criteria:
- Be between 18 and 22 years old at the time of enrollment;
- Reside in Pouso Alegre (MG) and have availability to fulfill the practical workload at XCMG;
- Have completed High School by the date of enrollment;
- Present a military exemption, in the case of male candidates.

- Until 02/21/2025: Open registrations and submission of documentation;
- Until 02/21/2025: Document review;
- 02/28/2025: Electronic draw and announcement of the list of classified candidates;
- 03/06 to 03/21/2025: Admission exams conducted by XCMG.
