Free EAD Specialization: Everything You Need to Know

The National School of Public Health Sergio Arouca (ENSP), part of Fiocruz, is open for enrollments until January 8, 2025, for the Specialization Course in Permanent Education: Health and Education from an Integrative Perspective.

The completely free course is offered in a distance learning modality (EAD) and focuses on training professionals to address the challenges in the fields of health and education.

With a duration of 12 months, the course has a total workload of 384 hours, of which 328 will be conducted online through a Virtual Learning Environment (AVA).

The remaining 56 hours will be in-person, divided into three mandatory meetings.

These meetings will take place at the beginning, middle, and end of the course, with the last one dedicated to the presentation of the Course Completion Work (TCC).

Participation Requirements

Before applying, it is important to verify if you meet the following requirements:

Higher Education Diploma: Only candidates with a completed degree can participate.
Weekly Dedication: It is necessary to have 8 to 10 hours available per week to complete course activities.
In-Person Attendance: Attendance at all three meetings is mandatory.

If you meet these criteria, the next step is to enroll through the EAD/ENSP portal by the final deadline.

Fiocruz Selection Process: How It Works?

The selection process consists of three main stages:

Curriculum Evaluation: Organizers will assess the professional and academic experience of the candidates.
Letter of Intent: A letter explaining the reasons the candidate wants to participate in the course will be considered.
Documentation: All required documentation must be presented and comply with the announcement.

200 candidates will be selected for the effective positions and 80 for the waiting list, distributed among UAB/Capes Support Centers, as announced in the disclosure document.
