The State University of Vale do Acaraú (UVA) announced that it has extended applications for the UAB/UVA 2025/1 Selection Process until January 15, 2025.
In total, 840 spots are offered in five undergraduate courses in the distance learning modality (EAD).
The covered areas include everything from Public Administration to Renewable Energies, with opportunities aimed at broad competition and also for specific groups, promoting inclusion and diversity.
Available Courses and Distribution of Spots
According to UVA, the courses offered in the EAD format aim to meet the demands of the current job market and provide excellence in education.

- Public Administration: 150 spots
- Accounting Sciences: 150 spots
- Physical Education: 180 spots
- Renewable Energies: 180 spots
- Pedagogy: 180 spots
It is worth noting that 25% of the spots are reserved for public school teachers, in an initiative that reaffirms the university’s commitment to inclusive education aligned with the guidelines of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES).
Who Can Participate?
To register for the selection process, candidates must have completed high school or equivalent by the date of enrollment. Additionally, UVA reserves spots for:
- Public school teachers.
- Self-declared black, brown, indigenous, or quilombola students.
- People with disabilities (PwD).
- Broad competition for other candidates.
The selection will be based on high school grades, which will be converted into numerical values according to the criteria defined in the official announcement.
