According to notice nº 140/2024, the selection process is intended for the formation of a reserve list for EAD tutors, tutoring coordinators, multidisciplinary support team, and course coordinators in the area of Special Education from the Perspective of Inclusive Education.

The opportunities are aligned with the Open University of Brazil Program (UAB), regulated by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), from the Ministry of Education (MEC).

Opportunities and Requirements for E-Learning Tutors

UNIFAL aims to fill up to 100 positions for EAD tutors, with one tutor expected for every 50 students.

The process seeks qualified professionals committed to inclusive education, with the following necessary requirements for candidates:

Other Available Positions

In addition to positions for EAD tutors, the notice includes other support and coordination functions, including:

  • Tutoring Coordinator: Responsible for supervising and guiding the work of tutors.
  • Multidisciplinary Support Team: Professionals who will support Special Education.
  • Course Coordinator: Pedagogical management of the course and alignment of program guidelines.

How the Selection Process Will Work

The selection process will involve several stages, notably:

  • Curriculum Analysis: Evaluation of qualifications and experience of all candidates.
  • Tutors Training Course: Exclusive stage for those applying for the position of tutor.

The Evaluation Committee will be responsible for analyzing applications, checking the submitted documentation, and conducting interviews according to the criteria established in the notice.

Impact of the Program and Importance of Inclusive Education

The initiative is part of a continued effort to broaden access to quality higher education in remote regions of Brazil.

By offering remote work opportunities, UNIFAL-MG also contributes to the democratization of inclusive education, allowing qualified professionals to meet the demands of students with disabilities and special needs.
