The Research and Development Center in Telecommunications (CPQD) is open for applications for the Technological Residency Program, which offers a series of free courses with scholarships. This is a great opportunity for those who dream of studying and making money.

The initiative, in partnership with Soex, aims to provide technological training for researchers, professionals, and university students. In total, 320 spots are offered in free courses with scholarships. The Technological Residency Program offers four free courses to study and make money:

VIRTUALIZED PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLERS

The Virtualized Programmable Logic Controllers course focuses on developing skills related to designing architectures and solutions with both physical and virtualized programmable logic controllers, applying them to industrial automation processes.

APPLIED CRYPTOGRAPHY AND BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGIES

This course aims to develop skills related to building intelligent blockchain systems using cryptographic protocols and autonomous agents, developing secure and efficient smart contracts, and analyzing cryptographic solutions for security and privacy, aiming to contribute to the development of new technologies.

PRIVATE NETWORKS

The course to study and make money in Private Networks in Industrial Environments aims to develop skills related to designing, implementing, and automating 4G/5G mobile networks focusing on the performance and security demands of the industrial sector.

The Embedded Electronic Systems course Applied to Edge Computing Scenarios aims to develop embedded software systems using IoT solutions, AI techniques, and edge computing, ensuring the use of technologies aligned with market standards and norms.

Learn How to Participate in Free Courses to Study and Make Money

The registration period for free courses with scholarships runs from January 20 to February 3 and must be done directly online. For each course, CPQD will provide 80 spots, totaling 320 spots for the theoretical phase. The second phase will begin in August 2025 and last for 8 months.

City Hall Opens Selection Process with a Salary of Up to R$ 5 Thousand Reais and More Than 600 Immediate Vacancies for General Services Assistant, Janitor, Receptionist, Machine Operator, and Other Positions!

The students will be residents at CPQD during the free courses and will be immersed in technology through their involvement in real projects of the entity, thus strengthening the hands-on strategy of the learning process.

For this phase, 20 students will be selected per course, totaling 80 residents, based on their performance in the theoretical phase. These students will work 20 hours a week and receive scholarships amounting to R$ 1,725.00.

The schedule for free courses with scholarships to study and make money is as follows:

Registration period: 01/20 to 02/03/2025;
Theoretical selection process stages: 02/04 to 02/26/2025;
Announcement of selected candidates: 02/27/2025;
Confirmation of interest and Enrollment: 02/27 to 03/07/2025;
Theoretical course period: 03/10 to 07/25/2025;
Practical course period: 08/11/2025 to 03/31/2026.
