Who Can Apply for Scholarships in Switzerland?

To apply for a doctoral or research scholarship, interested parties must have been born after December 31, 1989, and must have completed a master’s degree, or be expected to complete it by July 31, 2025. For post-doctoral scholarships, the candidate must have obtained their doctorate after December 31, 2021 or be expected to complete it by July 31, 2025.

One of the essential requirements is the submission of a letter of facilitation from a Swiss university, which must be written and sent by the professor who will supervise the applicant. This letter must specify the support for the candidate and include a brief curriculum of the supervising professor, demonstrating the importance of the research project.
