Free Specialization in Vocational and Technological Education
IFSC is offering 200 spots for the Postgraduate Lato Sensu Course in Teaching in Vocational and Technological Education.
This specialization aims to prepare professionals to teach technical courses and other forms of education, all through the Distance Learning (EAD) format, allowing you to study wherever you are.
According to the Admission Announcement No. 14/DEING/2024/2, the course aims to “contribute to integral human formation, focusing on social emancipation and Brazil’s sovereignty.”
The training also aligns with ethical and critical values, promoting creative educational interventions that can transform the educational landscape in the country.
What Is the Course Like?
The course will be developed with asynchronous and synchronous online classes, allowing students to balance study with other activities.
Additionally, there will be in-person meetings at the support poles of the Open University of Brazil (UAB), where assessments will be conducted.
The in-person meetings will occur on Tuesdays, from 7 PM to 10 PM, and there will also be online activities during the same period.
The total course load is 360 hours, with 300 hours dedicated to Curriculum Units and 60 hours reserved for the completion of the Final Paper (TCC).
The support poles are located in several cities in Santa Catarina: Criciúma, Itapema, Joinville, Lages, São José, and São Miguel do Oeste, increasing access for candidates from different regions of the state.

The results of the first call will be released on September 25, 2024, starting at 6 PM, and approved candidates will have from September 26 to October 2 to submit the necessary documentation to finalize their enrollment.
