RedMagic’s gamer model targets users seeking high performance in games, with promises of robust cooling, smooth display, and generous battery, while differences between the Chinese and global versions draw attention before the device’s international presentation.
RedMagic has confirmed the global presentation of the RedMagic 11S Pro, a new gamer phone from the brand, for May 27, at 8 AM New York time, which comes just days after the Chinese launch on May 18, focusing on performance, advanced cooling, and high-capacity battery.
The manufacturer’s international page already anticipates part of the technical specifications and confirms that the global model will feature Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version, RedCore R4 chip, Energy Cube 3.0 system, 144 Hz AMOLED display, and a turbo fan of up to 24,000 rotations per minute.
RedMagic 11S Pro global will have a different battery
The main difference from the device announced in China lies in the battery, as RedMagic’s global material reports a capacity of 7,500 mAh and fast charging of 80 W wired and wireless for the international 11S Pro.

In China, the line was presented with two energy configurations: the RedMagic 11S Pro features an 8,000 mAh battery and 80 W charging, while the RedMagic 11S Pro+ has 7,500 mAh, 120 W wired charging, and 80 W wireless support.

This change indicates that the global variant will follow a different strategy from that adopted in the Chinese market, although the company has not yet detailed all the reasons for choosing the smaller capacity outside China.
The international material also does not mention, so far, the direct integration feature with Steam, presented in the Chinese launch coverage as part of the software innovations aimed at PC games.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 targets heavy games
The RedMagic 11S Pro arrives as one of the brand’s most aggressive bets for the gamer segment, with the combination of the Qualcomm processor, the auxiliary RedCore R4 chip, and the Energy Cube 3.0 to sustain performance in more demanding matches.
According to FoneArena, the Chinese version of the line uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Edition with a CPU of up to 4.74 GHz, while the global RedMagic page confirms the same “Leading Version” nomenclature for the international model.
The proposition places the device in the same competitive field as other high-performance gaming phones, such as models associated with the Asus ROG Phone and Lenovo Legion families, although the availability of these lines varies by market.
To prevent performance loss due to overheating, RedMagic highlights the AquaCore system, which combines liquid cooling, Liquid Metal 3.0, an expanded vapor chamber, and a turbo fan capable of reaching 24,000 RPM.
144 Hz AMOLED Screen Bets on Immersion
On the front, the device uses a BOE X10 AMOLED panel of 6.85 inches, with a resolution of 2688 x 1216 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, and a screen-to-body ratio of 95.3%.

The high screen utilization occurs because the front camera is positioned under the display, a solution that eliminates visible notches and holes on the panel, something important for those who prioritize visual immersion in games and videos.
The front camera has 16 MP in the Chinese line, while the rear set informed by the technical coverage includes sensors of 50 MP for the main camera, 50 MP for the ultrawide, and a 2 MP macro lens.
In addition to the high-frequency screen, the 11S Pro line features a Synaptics touch chip, an instant sampling rate of up to 3,000 Hz, and a multitouch reading of 360 Hz, features designed for quick commands in competitive games.
Memory, Connections, and Construction Reinforce Gamer Profile
The data sheet released for the Chinese line indicates versions with 12 GB, 16 GB, or 24 GB of LPDDR5T RAM, as well as internal storage of 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB in UFS 4.1 standard.
There is still no complete confirmation of all the combinations that will be sold globally, but the international launch page itself mentions a promotional unit of 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage in the campaign’s terms.
Among the connectivity features, the technical coverage of the Chinese version lists 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, USB-C, infrared, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack, in addition to IPX8 water resistance certification.
The reported dimensions for the line are 163.82 x 76.54 x 8.9 mm, with a weight of 230 grams, numbers that reinforce the profile of a robust device, but still within the standard of recent gaming smartphones.
Price and availability depend on the global announcement
The Chinese version was listed with Android 16 under the RedMagic OS 11 interface, but the global pre-launch page has not yet detailed all the software points of the international RedMagic 11S Pro.
Prices, sales regions, and a possible arrival in Brazil should be detailed in the global announcement on May 27, when RedMagic may also clarify whether integration with Steam will be maintained outside of China.
Until then, what is officially confirmed is that the international model will have a 7,500 mAh battery, 80 W charging, 144 Hz AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version, and cooling with a 24,000 RPM fan.
