One of the innovations of the 20th edition is the inclusion of the Energy Transition block in the agenda. There will be six major themes for the papers: Exploration and Production, Offshore, Midstream and Downstream, Natural Gas, Digital Transformation, Management and Leadership, and Energy Transition. Those selected will be able to present their projects in two different formats: oral and digital poster. Rio Oil & Gas 2020 will have the theme “Energy for a World in Transformation,” gathering the leading experts in the sector from Brazil and around the world.
The final projects will compete for honorable mentions and will be published in the IBP online library, with ISSN registration, and may also be indexed in international scientific databases. The authors will also be eligible for the Plínio Cantanhede award, given to the best technical paper presented at an IBP event.
