Roblox and Mastertech are expanding a free initiative that aims to train 10,000 young Brazilians in programming and game creation by 2026.
The project, called Expedition Roblox, brings together online courses, creation challenges, and in-person meetings in different capitals of the country.
The initiative is already close to reaching 2,500 participants, according to the organizers.

The action has already passed through Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Brasília, bringing practical activities to students.

Participants also undertake creation challenges with the support of specialized monitors.
In São Paulo, public school students created their own projects and participated in a game competition.
The stage also offered spaces for parents and guardians to better understand the platform.
Guardians were also able to understand the parental control features available on Roblox.
Free courses total 36 hours of online training
Expedition Roblox also offers online and completely free training tracks.
The content was developed by Mastertech to work directly within Roblox Studio.
The track uses a custom plugin created to support learning within the platform.
In total, the training adds up to 36 hours of content.
Each participant can progress at their own pace, according to their availability and interest in game creation.
The program also offers materials for educators interested in using Roblox as a learning tool.
Parents and guardians also find content to better understand how the platform works.
Game Jams stimulate creativity and practice within Roblox Studio
The national Game Jams are part of the initiative and reinforce practical learning.
These monthly challenges encourage participants to create items, maps, avatars, and complete experiences.
