The Secretariat of Science, Technology and Higher Education of Ceará (Secitece) has 855 openings for Initial and Continuing Education (FIC) courses.
Classes are scheduled to begin next Monday, January 20, according to the website anoticiadoceará.
In-Person and Online Courses
Of the available openings, 585 are for in-person courses, held at the locations of the Technological Vocational Centers (CVTs), and 270 for online courses, available through the Centec Academy platform.

USP will have quotas for people with disabilities starting in 2028, adapts Fuvest, Provão Paulista, and Enem-USP from 2027 to the new São Paulo state law, and creates a working group to define rules for reserving spots and specialized support in undergraduate courses.

The range of courses includes: Programming Logic for Web Development, Introduction to Game Industry, Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, Social Media for Business, Tailoring, among others.

With a workload ranging from 40 to 160 hours, the courses combine theoretical and practical classes, ideal for those seeking new skills, professional updating, or entry into the job market.
Requirements for Participation
The openings are free and intended for people in a situation of socioeconomic vulnerability, residing in Ceará, with a minimum age of 16 years.
Candidates must meet the minimum educational criteria required for each course.
Local Partnerships
The courses will be held not only in cities that have CVTs, but also in neighboring communities, municipalities, and districts, thanks to partnerships with city halls and civil society organizations.
The CVTs are managed by the Centec Institute, hired by the Government of Ceará to promote professional and technological education in the state.
