SENAI, in partnership with the Government of Santa Catarina, is offering free technical courses for young people in the Western region of the state. Registration is open for high school students from nine municipalities, aiming to provide professional qualification and facilitate the entry of students into the job market.
This opportunity is an important step in training new professionals, focusing on technical courses that meet the needs of the local industry for free. SENAI provides free technical courses for students enrolled in the 1st or 2nd year of high school from state schools. Spaces are limited, and the courses offered include areas such as Food, Industrial Automation, and Systems Development.
These free technical courses last for two years and will be held at the SENAI unit in Chapecó, with content aligned with the needs of the job market. With this qualification, students will have the opportunity to finish high school with a technical education that better prepares them to enter the regional industry.

The vacancies for the free technical courses are open to students from nine municipalities in Western SC. The municipalities include Águas Frias, Caxambu do Sul, Chapecó, Cordilheira Alta, Coronel Freitas, Guatambu, Nova Erechim, Nova Itaberaba, and Planalto Alegre.
These free technical courses mainly aim to qualify young people for local industries, preparing them for areas that require specialized technical professionals.

Jardel Carminatti, executive manager of SENAI West and Extreme West, explains that the areas of Industrial Automation, Food, and Systems Development were chosen to align student training with the needs of the local productive sector.

Details must be registered through the official websites of the free technical courses program. Pre-registration must be done online, and to complete enrollment, several documents must be presented, such as ID, CPF, and a school attendance certificate.
