The state of Pará will gain a new LNG terminal. According to the approval from ANP published yesterday (12/29), in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU), the new liquefied natural gas regasification terminal will be in the same region as the Novo Tempo thermoelectric plant, in Barcarena. The energy generation project is by Celba itself, which is being implemented and will be supplied with LNG loads received there.
The LNG project will have port facilities for berthing and mooring of a floating storage and regasification unit, known as FSRU in English.
