Software.com.br expands its role in artificial intelligence after a strategic agreement with the creator of ChatGPT and aims for strong growth in 2026.

The advancement of artificial intelligence continues to drive the global technology market and now opens a new opportunity for Brazilian companies. Software.com.br, a national company specializing in corporate software solutions, announced a strategic partnership with OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT, to act as the official distribution channel for ChatGPT Business for small and medium-sized businesses throughout Latin America.

The agreement marks a new phase for the Brazilian company, which is preparing to complete two decades of operation in 2027. With the partnership, Software.com.br will start selling licenses for the business version of the artificial intelligence platform, in addition to offering implementation, training, consulting, and technical support services for organizations interested in incorporating the technology into their operations.

The expectation is that the initiative will significantly boost the company’s financial results. The projection for 2026 is to surpass the mark of R$ 200 million in revenue, a significant leap compared to the R$ 140 million recorded the previous year.

Growth of artificial intelligence drives new businesses

The arrival of generative artificial intelligence in the corporate environment is transforming how companies handle productivity, data analysis, process automation, and customer service.

In this context, the partnership with OpenAI positions Software.com.br in one of the most promising segments of the current technology market.

The ChatGPT Business version was developed to serve organizations seeking to use advanced AI resources with greater administrative control, data security, and integration with internal processes.

In addition to providing licenses, the Brazilian company will act as a strategic consultant to assist clients in adopting artificial intelligence tools, helping from the planning phase to the practical implementation of solutions.

The initiative follows a trend observed throughout Latin America, where companies from various sectors are accelerating investments in digital transformation to increase competitiveness and operational efficiency.

From software resale to international technology hub

The journey of Software.com.br officially began in 2007, but its foundations were laid back in 2006, when founder and CEO Rodrigo Villar identified an underexplored opportunity in the Brazilian market.

At the time, he was working on technology projects and noticed that many companies were looking for international software that did not yet have official representation in the country.

From this need, the business model was born that would transform the company into one of the main technology hubs in Latin America.

One of the most strategic decisions was acquiring the domain “software.com.br”, in addition to registering similar addresses in several Latin American countries, such as Mexico, Argentina, and Chile. The initiative anticipated a regional expansion that would come years later.

Currently, the company connects more than 15,000 global software suppliers to a portfolio of approximately 8,000 active clients.

Among the organizations served are major names in the Brazilian market, such as Petrobras, Itaú Unibanco, Vale, and Mercado Livre.

Consulting model became a competitive advantage

Over the years, the company stopped acting solely as a license reseller and began offering specialized technology consulting services.

Today, the operation functions as a strategic guidance platform for companies needing to choose software solutions focused on areas such as cybersecurity, systems development, data analysis, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence.

The current focus is on building long-term relationships with clients, assisting in selecting the most suitable technologies for each corporate need.

This shift in positioning allowed the company to expand its relevance in digital transformation projects and strengthen its presence in highly competitive sectors.

International expansion strengthens presence in Latin America

The growth of Software.com.br is also directly linked to its internationalization strategy.

The company already has established operations in Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina, and is advancing in opening a new unit in Chile.

The regional expansion was driven by agreements signed with major global technology manufacturers, including Google, and by the increased demand for digital solutions throughout Latin America.

To serve this market, the company currently has about 140 employees, including professionals specialized in sales, technical consulting, integration development, and multilingual support.

The team includes specialists fluent in languages such as English, Spanish, and German, facilitating direct relationships with international manufacturers and multinational clients.

Artificial intelligence becomes one of the company’s main bets

In recent years, Software.com.br has created a specific unit dedicated to the development of projects related to artificial intelligence.

The area works on the strategic implementation of AI solutions for companies that want to automate processes, improve data analysis, and increase productivity through advanced technologies.

The partnership with OpenAI represents an important step in this strategy and can further accelerate the adoption of corporate artificial intelligence in the region.

Industry experts point out that the AI market is expected to continue growing at a rapid pace in the coming years, driven by the need for companies to gain operational efficiency and reduce costs.

In this scenario, Software.com.br’s expectation is to consolidate its position as one of the leading providers of corporate artificial intelligence solutions in Latin America.

From the outskirts of São Paulo to leading an international company

Behind the company’s growth is the trajectory of its founder, Rodrigo Villar, marked by entrepreneurship and overcoming challenges.

Raised in the East Zone of São Paulo, Villar began working as a child helping his father at an open-air market. Later, the family managed to open a small shoe store, where he also began serving customers.

The first family member to enter higher education, he divided his time between Business Administration courses at Fundação Getulio Vargas and Public Relations at the University of São Paulo, while working to pay for his studies.

Years later, he turned an opportunity identified in the software market into a business that now operates in several countries and moves hundreds of millions of reais.

Even after achieving business success, Villar keeps a miniature red Chevette on his desk, a symbol of the challenges faced during his education and the importance of remembering his origins.

Now, with the partnership established with OpenAI and the growing demand for artificial intelligence in companies, Software.com.br begins a new stage of growth and seeks to consolidate its role as one of the main protagonists of digital transformation in Latin America.
