The flying car factory emerges as a new chapter in this journey, aligned with the commitment to deliver even more significant results.
The Genesis X1, popularly nicknamed the “flying car,” features characteristics similar to those of a helicopter, allowing for vertical take-off and landing.
A notable difference is its electric nature, eliminating the use of fossil fuels and strengthening the commitment to sustainability.
Details of the Flying Car Capable of Carrying 2 Passengers
Developed by Vertical Connect in collaboration with the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará (IFCE), the prototype of the flying car was presented at an event held in Fortaleza in December 2023.
The IFCE rector, Wally Menezes, and the CEO of Vertical Connect, Ruan Carlo Ferreira, were present, along with the rector of the Aeronautical Technological Institute (ITA), Anderson Correia.
During the presentation, aspects such as the structural set of propellers and motors, the design, and the flying characteristics of the X-1 model were highlighted.
In the coming months, the unveiling of the interior of the prototype is expected, along with the flight and avionics systems, essential for the effective functioning of the eVTOL (Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing Vehicle). This phase will provide a comprehensive view of the project before it enters the production line.
