Turbine Manufacturer Provides Hardware for 3.15 MW Projects in Karnataka and Maharashtra with Nordic Energy and Mahindra Susten Private.
Suzlon has closed two contracts for the supply of wind turbines in India, totaling over 200 MW. One of the agreements was made with Nordic Energy, for 32 machines with a capacity of 3.15 MW for a 100.8 MW project in Karnataka. The hybrid lattice tubular towers will be supplied as part of the hardware, meeting the customer’s demand for the company’s 3MW series turbines.
Additionally, Suzlon will be responsible for commissioning and post-commissioning maintenance services. The company’s vice president, Girish Tanti, emphasized the importance of the partnership: ‘We are very pleased to partner again with the leading Nordic energy company’.
The turbine manufacturer also closed an agreement with Mahindra Susten Private, for the supply of 48 machines of 2 MW for a 100.8 MW project in Maharashtra. The S120-140 meters hardware, consisting of hybrid lattice tubular towers, will be supplied by Suzlon, which will also be responsible for the complete project scope, including installation and commissioning. Furthermore, the company will carry out post-commissioning operation and maintenance services.
