Among the positions announced by Techocean, the following stand out:

For this position, a technical degree in Mechanics or Electromechanics is required, along with proven experience registered in a work card. Valid CBSP and HUET or THUET courses are also required. Knowledge in digital tools such as AutoCAD 2D/3D and Plant 3D is essential for the role.

Applicants must reside in the state of Rio de Janeiro and hold an IRATA certification, in addition to the mandatory CBSP and HUET/T-HUET courses. Proven experience is essential. The climbing welder works in critical areas of platforms and vessels, requiring high technical qualification and physical preparation.

TIG/ER Conventional Welder (Offshore)

Also aimed at residents of the state of RJ, this position requires a welding qualification course and up-to-date CBSP + HUET/T-HUET certifications. Proven experience is mandatory.

According to estimates from Glassdoor, an offshore climbing welder in Brazil in 2025 can earn between R$ 6,000 and R$ 10,000 monthly in more advanced positions. However, for junior-level professionals, the salary can start in the range of R$ 2,000 to R$ 3,000 per month.

This variation depends on the level of experience, certifications such as IRATA, contracting company, embarkation region, and platform size. In the case of Techocean, the appreciation of qualified professionals tends to position salaries among the most competitive in the industry.
