Tenaris has once again been honored with an award by Petrobras at the prestigious ROG.e 2024 event. This is a clear demonstration of Tenaris’s commitment to excellence and technological innovation, especially in the energy sector. This recognition is even more significant when we consider the onshore operations that the company performs, highlighting its global leadership in high-quality pipe solutions and manufacturing.

For the second consecutive year, Tenaris consolidates its position as a standout company in the market, reinforcing the trust of large corporations in its products and services. Being awarded as ‘Best Supplier’ by Petrobras at ROG.e not only celebrates Tenaris’s dedication but also underscores the importance of its contributions at one of the most relevant suppliers events in Brazil.

Recognition from Petrobras for Tenaris

Petrobras recognized Tenaris, for the second consecutive year, with awards in the ‘Operating Goods’ and ‘Tubulars for Production and Coating (OCTG)’ categories. The awards event was attended by Renato Catallini, President of Tenaris in Brazil; Roque Ivaldi, Commercial Director of Oil&Gas; Ramiro Esquiroz, Commercial Director of Sucker Rods; Jean Dias, Sales Manager of Sucker Rods; and Idarilho Nascimento, Director of Institutional Relations, representing the company. The ceremony not only highlighted Tenaris as an important supplier but also reflected the company’s excellence in the energy sector.

Commitment and Technological Innovations of Tenaris

For Renato Catallini, this award reaffirms Tenaris’s ongoing commitment to new technological advancements in the Brazilian energy industry. According to him, Tenaris is always seeking innovative ways to add value to Petrobras’s projects. The company’s President emphasized the main technological innovations that are currently being launched and discussed their functionalities and benefits.

He highlighted that the partnership with Petrobras has evolved significantly, exemplified by the supply of high-performance technologies such as the premium connections TenarisHydril and the BlueDock® connectors. Tenaris’s Dopeless® technology offers greater reliability in operations and improves both efficiency and safety in drilling rigs. These innovations demonstrate how Tenaris, a renowned manufacturer in the industry, continually adapts to provide advanced solutions.

Innovative Solutions and Offshore Segment

Currently, Tenaris provides corrosion-resistant alloy (CRA) pipes for offshore projects, in addition to enhancing its coating solutions for linepipe projects, customizing them according to customer specifications. Renato Catallini emphasized that, in addition to this robust product portfolio, the company offers a wide range of innovative services aimed at making operations safer and more efficient. This includes technologies that are especially important for onshore operations, showcasing how Tenaris positions itself as a prominent supplier in the energy sector.

Ramiro Esquiroz, Commercial Director of Sucker Rods, spoke about the relevance of Tenaris’s products and services for the development of onshore operations. He highlighted benefits such as the durability and efficiency of sucker rods and detailed how these products facilitate customers’ operations.

Expansion of Tenaris’s Services in Brazil

Esquiroz noted that from the sucker rods division, Tenaris has expanded its service offerings in Brazil, including inventory management, field services, and monitoring of rod replacement. These initiatives aim to more effectively support customer operations, reflecting Tenaris’s commitment to delivering comprehensive and innovative solutions.

This is the fourth edition in which Tenaris has been awarded by Petrobras, aimed at recognizing companies and suppliers that stand out in delivering goods and services. The awards consider criteria such as timely performance, management, quality, health, environment, safety, and value generation, recognizing Tenaris’s fundamental role in the energy sector.
