Professional Training Offered by Detran Trains New Traffic Instructors for Work in Driving Schools; Classes Begin on April 28.
The Detran of Mato Grosso do Sul has openings available for the professional training for Traffic Instructor, with a start date set for April 28, 2025. In total, there are 40 openings intended for candidates looking to enter the career of Traffic Instructor. Applications are open until April 27, and the classes will be in-person, held at the Detran headquarters in Campo Grande.
Detran Offers Comprehensive Training for Traffic Instructor Certification
The Traffic Instructor training offered by Detran has a total workload of 203 hours/class, featuring theoretical and practical content.
Classes will take place Monday to Friday from 5 PM to 9:25 PM. On Saturdays, the hours will be from 7:30 AM to 11:55 AM and from 1 PM to 5:25 PM. There may be activities on Sundays and holidays, as needed.

Registration for the Training Must Be Done Online
Those interested in filling the openings for the Traffic Instructor training must visit the official site of Detran (meudetran.ms.gov.br), click on the “Education” tab, select the month of April 2025, and choose the Training Course for Traffic Instructor.
After filling out the registration form, a fee of R$ 1,037.60 will be generated. Failure to pay by the due date will eliminate the candidate from the process.
Prerequisites to Compete for Detran Openings
To compete for the openings, the candidate must:
- Be over 21 years old;
- Have completed high school;
- Be licensed for at least two years;
- Pass a psychological evaluation.
The Detran emphasizes that compliance with these requirements is mandatory for the validation of the registration in the professional training of Traffic Instructor.
